I’ve come to the conclusion that for the next week I, Michael Luciano, Jr. will be shutting off my internet card.
You heard it first hear. I am going to take a large siesta, and just read and write. I won’t even be using my girlfriend, www.dictionary.com, who makes my day complete with her helpful suggestions [...]

Today, I got to use a word that I learnt from reading about scrabble in a real life conversation.
“It was written by an unknown muzjik.”
While discussing The Way of a Pilgrim with a friend, they asked who wrote it, and the answered involved the word!
Muzjiks = 128 points on a first move. (Highest possible)

I don’t know what to do.
Nearing the end it made more sense than ever, but still hurt to understand. I wish that it came easier to me and was easier, but also, it would’ve ruined the book. The cut up technique, the ridiculous lack of flow, the outrageous story line—it all gave something shocking.
I’m glad [...]
A Tattoo is what I need!

Last night, I was talking to my parents, and my mom said something about how had originally intended on getting some sort of tattoo on her 40th birthday. Now I feel that it’d be entirely “well”-received if I were to go through with what I wanted done. I would like one, but I don’t want [...]

I love the whole community of bloggers, but at the same time I feel since I began in February, I’ve become much older; everyone I see on here is getting comfortable and finding their niche, and I’m a sophomore in college who is trying to stay young and deny responsibility, but also, claim maturity and [...]

I began to rewrite an old story tonight, well, not rewrite, but edit it down to something I may actually consider decent. I’ve been reading some great short stories lately, which have given me more of an idea of what “decent” is in my eyes. The original is on my Our Echo, but this is [...]
A Naked Confession

I’m 116 pages into Naked Lunch by William S. Burroughs, this is after several weeks of fighting it and trying to comprehend it, and I am as lost as ever; I’ve never had such a difficult time with a book.
But my god: I am loving it. Sometimes I reach those sentences, paragraphs, or several [...]
Wandering through old sketch pads…

I found a drawing I did with a stippling pen, maybe in the beginning of December, I think.
I like it a lot, but maybe I am only seeing what it is because I drew it. Tell me, what do you see?

A Would You Rather for everyone out there.

I saw a post of Maxie’s and had to ask one that my friend asked me the other day.
Would you rather have a small group, let’s say 6 people who kind of want to eat you, or one person who is determined to eat you?
