Aside from keeping me updated with very interesting facts once a week, my friend also involves himself in the arts. Since he’s unable to put his art online, due to his school’s rules… I think, we’ll refer to him as robotsayhello, which is his name on flickr.
I’ve been a fan of many of his projects I’ve seen in the years I’ve known him. I believe we’ve been in school together since the beginning, but to be honest everything from before 7th grade has become a giant pool of forgotten mediocre songs and mildly picky-choosy tales of childhood, eww.
Well, back to Robotsayhello, he’s a Pisces, like me; his favorite activities are “your mother” and “scrabble”; his interests are “not being sick”, and I did just take all of this straight from his facebook.
I enjoy what I’ve seen of his because it feels, most of all, like it’s his and not the vision of another artist seen through a new filter; he’s not about to sell out what he does for someone else’s style. As long as I can remember he has always kept an authentic uniqueness, which I hope you all, whoever you are, see this as something special, as well.
When I asked Robotsayhello about his works, he said, “my art is like visual oral sex,” which I have nothing to add on to.
I’d like to end this entry with a few of his random facts over time:
- FACT OF THE WEEK: Blink-182 is amazing. That’s it.
- FACT OF THE WEEK: 3% of every Giant Octopus is pure evil.
- FACT OF THE WEEK: Buying an Apple product is equivalent to trading your wallet with a dumpster.
